Jason

would like to take a brief moment to introduce myself and my family.
My name is Jason Konrade, Physical Therapist, and my wife is Monica
Konrade MS RN. We have 2 young boys Jonas (3), and Drew (1 year). We
recently moved to Emporia last September 2007, and I am excited to be
opening a new Physical Therapy practice in town; Get Back to Health
Physical Therapy. |
| In
1995, I went on to earn a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at
The University of Kansas Medical Center. Upon graduation, I began my first
job as a PT at North Kansas City Hospital. Shortly thereafter, I began
a rigorous study of specialized manual therapy training. I found that
a combination of traditional PT skills with this additional manual therapy
skill set offered even better clinical outcomes for patients. Over the
next 10 years, I completed nearly 800 hours of coursework and study in
different manual approaches to treatment of the human body. My study included courses in Integrative Manual TherapyTM www.centerimt.com, Biovalent Systems, www.biovalentsystems.com, Myofascial Release, Manual Lymphatic treatment, Cranial Therapy, and more. In addition, I have spent the past 5 years studying, researching, and utilizing Infrared Light therapy www.rehabpub.com as part of many PT plans of care for treatment of pain and dysfunction. I have found over the past 13 years working in many different PT settings, that the more comprehensive the PT plan of care, the better. By utilizing traditional PT approaches, manual therapy approaches, newer modalities, and spending more time with patients, we achieve greater clinical outcomes. |

My
education has helped support my integrative philosophy of physical therapy,
which spends more time with patients and offers highly specialized therapy
that is very individualized for each patient and their particular needs.
I have specialized experience in neuro-rehabilitation and pediatrics,
treating back and neck pain, cranial/facial problems, knee and shoulder
problems, headaches, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and
most other disabling conditions. I would appreciate the opportunity
